the pillars of education

here is a poem i made. it tells us the benefits, the stresses and the hard work needed to excel in studies.
simyuhan 1k3  (35)

education,
the finest things in life
one must learn to cope
if not you will fall into the hole.
however, its not easy

one must open books,
go to libraries,
and supplementary lessons too.
not forgetting tuition
and revision a must.

one must stand above the average
rise above the rest
get the 'A' that everybody wanted
be it for our parents,
our pride,
or for our future.

my parents always expected so much
much to me at least.
they wanted me to try
to reach for the sky.

the best i did
was not enough
for their anger
overcome their thoughts
beating soon came
there was no escaping
lines one face
my hand
my legs
became a scar for life

so one will always remember
education is pretty much life
our parents have the best intentions
but little do they know
what they do may not bring out that outcome
they are like our bows
which we are arrows being sent forth
into the corrupted world we go
facing our fears
our parents know

but education
the one thing
that could lead us a better life
thus the need to study for life
education to studies to living
a more comfortable life
is what it has to offer
take or leave
for if you take it
always be committed

never go back
take the initiative
to ask questions in class that you do not know
study with friends
and never stop learning

soon you will know
truly what it has to offer
for if you have not tasted its joy
do not assume
because once you tasted the joy of success
you will never go back

IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION

this poem tells us the importance of education and makes you think that if you did not have edcucation, what and where would you be right now

Education is important
Right from when an infant

Education is not about college
It entails a wider range of knowledge
Supplying a market of skills shortage

Education is great
It creates and decides upon ones fate
Never leave it too late

Education makes it a priority
To provide you with opportunities

So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education

Education is in abundance
A constituent of importance
As we humans advance
It offers us life’s insurance

Education is the key to set you free
From joblessness condemnation

Education is the key to flee
From endless financial frustration

Education provides you with ammunition
To tackle any country, state or nation

Education gives you immunisation
Against surviving global frustration

Education relieves you
From absurd ignorance

Education exempts you and me
From parental allowance
For most adults
It is usually a concerning disturbance

So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education

I take my time to stress once more
It is the path to successes door
Education is a treasure
One cannot significantly measure
By only your life’s attended lectures

Education is power
Your immediate answer
To questions that remain unanswered

Education is for all
Embrace it or fall

Education provides options
And sets the motion
In life for you to function

So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education
Education is the name of the game

Chicken?

Two children are enough, but their toys are never enough after each holiday they leave pools of toys abandoned and out of favour.
They might try the Hainanese Chicken Rice at Swee Kee's but it doesn't compare with Kentucky Fried Chicken where they can enjoy the in thing of finger-lickin'.
Afterwards they will switch on Xiao Li to watch him play with the Flying Daggers, and also look for Brother Wu Ji who practises the art of the Dragon Sword. from nine at night in every housing board flat forest outlaws and swordsmen of the Chivalrous World
appear on TV screens.
Three years of primary education and their futures must he decided. They must be good in English and also speak a little Mandarin. Tests and exams are cold-blooded slaughters. They're not anxious - but their parents are.

How to teach children to read books poem

Hi, this poem is about literacy of how to teach children ways to read

Literacy (A Sestina)

When teaching children how to read
multiple techniques must be used.
The senses ought come into play,
remaining  calm and always kind.
A hued kaleidoscope of hope,
intelligence found within each.

Kids can reach their high plateau, each
figure which method works to read.
As leader, you're projecting hope,
both comics and physics are used.
"Hooked on Phonics", one of a kind,
lets them hear sounds while a tape plays.

Absorption takes hard knocks and play.
Pace determined, separates each,
learners,  made of different kinds,
leaves necessary time to read.
Reciting rhyme,  not one I like used,
forced, a child can not cope or hope.

Give,  you,  like  to "City of Hope".
Gears of their brains come into play,
amazing how much is not used.
Finding ways to reach out to each,
solving their health needs helps them read.
All are future aids to their kind.

Support for growth, other tool  kind,
comes from friends and family's hope.
Afraid because they do not read,
try to get them to stay and play.
Older and younger, one of each,
convergence is the cat's paw used.

Their surrounding  small  space  is used.
So minds become wondering kinds.
New horizons arise in each.
Reading fuels their ticket to hope.
Books are like a live Broadway play,
when "Horton Hears the Who" they read.

Literacy brings each child hope.
Educated young used fair play.
Open eyed, kind kids, destined, read.

Stress

Hi, i made a poem about stress. What happens to kids when they get too stressed?

Piles of Books
Miles of hooks

School give me
a hive of work
that give me a
line of aches

Ache, ache
I hate
Which is so bad

Later go clinic
for medicine
to heal
those aches

Also ask doctor
for MC
Next day
sleep on bed
cant cant do work

Next wk got exam
what we do?
No choice, no choice
cannot revise
only can can lay in bed

Wait wait till ache go away
only can then continue

fighting fighting
for top place
in school
Thats what mum expect

Here, Gigi tells us what English is to her

English is a thief; it steals my life.
English can make my tongue twist into a knot.
English is a hard rock; we must break through it.
English is a symphony, so marvellous.
English is an art.
English is a slice of bread I eat every day.
English is a hunter; it kills many students.
English is very, very troublesome.
English is A for apple, B for boy and C for cat.
English is trying your best.
English is a never-ending game.
English is a bowl of herbal tea.
English is a very big cake; we must eat it bit by bit.
English is tests and quizzes.
English is money, people should have some.

Test

Test

Education is so important!

Hi, check out this poem, this poem is about the good of having education.

A Bridge to Anywhere

A bridge too far may
Still be worth the walking
Massive mountains still
A challenge worthy of the climb.

Be not afraid to cross the bridge or climb the mountain
Dare to face what’s on the other side
Staying static maintains your current station
Strident stands take task tomorrow’s ride.

A bridge to anywhere
Advances passage somewhere
Engineering masterpieces
Bridge one’s way across the bay.

Educational classes
collect tolls for better future
Emotional channels lead to
Caring and connections.

Some bridges are more direct
Others require rigorous travel
Still, I think to choose a bridge
Will best your life unravel.
Here it is from:

We're luckier!

Check out this poem! You gotta read this carefully as this poem talks about other students being more unfortunate.

University

I am a university student
I am a broke uni student
I am declining my health for this education
Lack of sleep shortens life spans
And anxiety goes along with no sleep
         I leant in class.
And when are we not anxious?
  Test and exams
     Assignments and projects
        Essays and labs
I learnt how to kill myself a bunch of times too
    All in class too!
Let's jump off a bridge!
Crash into a head on collision,
     Stay in a burning building
         Drown underwater
           Just a couple examples..
              Physic examples.. Gotta love it!

Let's move on from all that I've learnt and stayed
and from the mentally scaring memories I wish to erase...
Spending too much money on a piece of paper
Quarter million anyway? Feels like a million to me.
Not to mentioned the debts from the loans...
And the textbooks, oh the textbooks..
Killing your back carrying those things
Burning a hole in your wallet too
       Hundred bucks for a book.
         Sorry uni, don't got money
Spent it all just trying to live here

Yes. I am a university student.
And yes, this is what I see
No, I am not the proud of it
...I wanted to travel, but I got no money...
Yes, I'm probably not gonna live till the age of 50
No, I do not regret it.

A friend who is my personal doctor
Trying to kill me with his herbs
A friend who will eat cake with me
Discussing what is wrong with the world as we speak
A friend where we exchange massages
Just to relax and have some fun
Friends who will play monopoly with me
It's what we do cause we're awesome
A floor that's family
   Exchanging hugs, there for support

None of us are professions.
This is our life.
Our comfort in misery.

Well... I dunno...

Sorry guys, this poem I have no idea how to classify it.

Uneducated

I see how you are,
With assumption twinning your mind around a thin ball point of  stupidity.
We as people in a new economy,
That captures the distressed mind of the community.

Must there be pain when figuring out the treacherous route of learning?      Teaching just doesn't get ahead and situation of failure light up,
As if students don't try or teachers give up, never caring,
All they want is the dough, while teaching false information.

Stress occurs in students, worrying about passing the FCAT, SAT or ACT,
Down, falls the slightest bit of blood, cuts of self harm due to anxiety.
These students get depressed, with worry more developed over time,
For the pain of failure trudges through the thoughts of the young.

We have created ignorance, we have harmed the students,
Our false redemption of explaining to the kids that what they learned is right.
Our brains not wired to understand the difference between true and false,
Students crumble to now come up with the realization of being lied to.

The brain is a sponge, which is soaking up the wrong information,
For the wrist keep bleeding, and the teachers are still teaching.
This world empty, it is only full of absurd choices,
The choice of uneducated groups failing to change the economy.

Another one!

This poem is about how most students torment about school.

An Education to Divide

In a lecture, I've grown bored
I watch the clock as it ticks
And then stare at the door
I lean back and  blink

Nope not over yet
The professor rambles on
A rambling with a debt
How can I not feel conned?

Such is the oppression of society
Through this system it has crafted
Miserable destinies
Of young men who shall grow old

As they witness many years
Of difficulty, distress
And silent tears
Forever made to feel less

Such is the condition of our society
That has been made to thrive
On the indignity
Of  others, of innocent lives

Discovered another one!

Hi all, I found this poem about the importance of exams! Check it out!

Importance of Exams!

Exam is not only a test,
IT is self checking in fact.
Test of how much you know,
Test of mental capability,
Test of self honor, in reality.

My points should be distract,
By asking others, you will get marks.
But you are a looser, this is stark.
By cheating in an exam,
You proves, you are nothing but a Gotham.

My words may sound satirizing,
For those who are really dumbbell.
In future they will be crying,
For this negligence,they will regret,
And they will pay for it, I bet.

But these are words of love for those,
Who really cafe and are operose.
Who want to build their future gardens,
With blooming and dancing flowers,
And where there is no smell of cheating.

Hi, I made a poem
plz comment and give me a rating
Also, no nasty comments!

Mum always make me do work
She always say
'You must score this marks
or else i will not let you play your phone'

She always have high expectations
of me
Since I am her only child

Whenever
i do badly
she would always
scold me till my ears burst
sometimes
she may take out a stick
when struck
gives me warnings
to work harder
for her goals

This would continue
till I finished university
Only then
I would have
long long
freedom
from studying
again.

Poem: Word for Word

Thought springs
Raw fling

Feel swirls
Rich twirls

Mind thinks
Stray links

Heart knows
Sure glow

Soul speaks
Fond peaks

Dig deep
Zest feeds

Know well
Zeal dwells

Know Word
For Word

Listen:
Discern

Just be
Gladly

Now walk
Your talk
